Print reproduction of the original surfboard piece 'Hamsa Hand' with a black background. The original is 21" x 71", painted with metallic acrylics and enamel, and back lit with color-changing LED lights. The board was surfed by a local talent until it was retired. Like many well-surfed boards, it had some minor repairs over its life which add character to the piece and define its connection to the water. I acquired the board to revive its energy flow with a hamsa hand. Dating back to Mesopotamia, the hamsa hand is a universal sign of protection, power, and strength. It protects against the evil eye and negative energy. Each finger is believed to connect to an element and a chakra.
